 More than 100 employees from MediaCorp’s group sales and marketing division held an eco-friendly waterless car wash yesterday at the The Grandstand, raising S$57,000 for charity. All proceeds will go to beneficiaries under MediaCorp’s corporate social responsibility programme — MediaCorp Cares, which focuses on helping the elderly and youth-at-risk. MediaCorp staff volunteer their time to participate in or help organise activities for beneficiaries from TOUCH Community Services, Lions Befrienders and Children-At-Risk Empowerment Association (CARE Singapore).
